sounds and silences: KIMYA DAWSON
No vuelvo a esa heladería.]

Beyond any question I live in another dimension that is not realism, that’s for sure, conscious and unconsciously. Maybe I mix dreams up randomly with real life and not always in my own way, like it happens with Stephan in The Science of Sleep. I’m so engrossed in a song, in another song, in a movie, in a book, in another song, in my guitar, in her fringe, most of the times in the futurism, I daydream with my next album, next show. I find it hard to play my old songs (just to call them “old” is so awkward, because those songs I could think about performing are at mooooooost four years old). I could set a track list only with new songs, and those are the songs I would really like to perform, no doubt; but, of course, the audience wants to listen to the songs from No Land… and some “old” ones, and actually I really like some of them, above all the songs from No Land… , I know it is fun. Then I always enjoy playing them, but if I don’t think twice I would only play songs that I have written two days ago. With the band you got to ponder over a track list very meditated if we want everything to get fine with those details that are the main thing for me and for everyone, although this doesn’t hinder us from changing always the songs and the arrangements, and they are not exactly obvious changes. I’m a Stanislavsky musician and we are an Stanislavsky band. “ I don’t believe you, you don’t persuade me”, those were the favourite words by Konstantin Sergeevich Alekseyev, well-known in the art world as Konstantin Stanislavsky. [Today I went to buy an ice cream with cornet, when I left the ice cream parlour I dropped the ice cream, chocolate & cream with walnuts, so I could only have the cornet. I will never come back there.]
