Escucho Painted from Memory de Elvis Costello & Burt Bacharach y Want One de Rufus Wainwright, me gustan mucho, aunque decido inmediatamente investigar si hay algún rastro de épica en mis canciones, antiguas y futuras, e intento borrarlo. Veo Nubes Pasajeras de Aki Kaurismäki, me entusiasma. Voy al vídeo club ávido de encontrar alguna película desconocida, pero la verdad es que termino viendo otra vez Antes de que el diablo sepa que has muerto, y me gusta incluso más que la primera vez; pero soy capaz de ver, entera, una película de Harrison Ford interpretando a otro padre tonto y heroico en la TV, incluso si no es precisamente una de mis favoritas. Hoy, gracias a PL y DP, he cambiado una de mis guitarras Danelectro, la pequeña y moderna, por una gran Gretsch blanca de cuerpo hueco que hace juego con mis zapatos. Yo ya notaba que el Terciopelo estaba a punto de llegar a mi destino. Y aquí está. Y hoy no me di ningún golpe en la cabeza, aunque se me inundó durante unos minutos el salón, pero lo superé, como Harrison Ford, bueno, más bien como si Isabella Rosellini hiciera de fontanero.

I listen to Elvis Costello & Burt Bacharach Painted from Memory and Rufus Wainwright Want One, I really like them, although I decide immediately to look for any epic trace in my songs, old and new ones, and try to erase it. I watch Drifting Clouds by Aki Kaurismäki, I love it, and go out to the videoclub eager to find any unknown film, but actually I decide to watch Before The Devil Knows You're Dead again, and I enjoy it even more than the first time; but I'm able to watch a whole film with Harrison Ford playing another heroic and fool father on TV, even if it's not exactly one of my favourites. Today, thanks to PL and DP, I've exchanged one of my Danelectro guitars, the small and modern one, for a big and vintage white hollow body Gretsch that goes with my new shoes. I could feel that Velvet was just coming to my fate. And here it is. And today I didn't knock my head, although I had flooding in the living room for a while, but I got through it, like Harrison Ford, well, actually like Isabella Rosellini playing a plumber.
