sounds and silences: GARY S. PAXTON "Alley Oop"

Esto es divertido y aterrador. Pero tengo que asumir los dos perfiles. Porque me atañe en primera persona, aunque me es al mismo tiempo completamente ajeno. Se trata de que puede que una persona que nació en 1938, en Arizona, sea un antepasado mío misterioso, el ancestro del timbre de mi voz, la semilla de mi forma de cantar. Me remito a los hechos. The Guinea Pig les regaló a Paco Loco y Muni Camón un álbum con canciones de los 50' y los 60', entre otros, de Gary S. Paxton And The Hollywood Argyles (banda completamente desconocida para casi todos nosotros, salvo para TGP; aunque tuvieron un gran hit, Alley Oop -¡éste tío ha vendido millones de discos, pendejos!). PL y MC alucinaron. Aseguran que la voz y la forma de cantar les recuerda mí. ¡Y las letras de las canciones también!: Dinosaurios, parejas enloquecidas... No doy crédito.
Es genial, pero creo que no es uno de mis ancestros perdidos. Claro que dudar por un instante del misterio gravitatorio espacio-tiempo con los cientos de científicos que llevan siglos estudiándolo sería hacerse el tonto.
