My friend Gorka sent to me an email with the last but one news from Bob Dylan: in talks to be the voice of GPS. No doubt, I don't think it is any attack against pure art or anything apocaliptical like that, but I do think it is insane. Science fiction. Something from The Simpson (Homer is also the voice of some GPS). I guess it would be even better if it was a songwriting GPS: "...don't repeat that chorus, it would be better if you change it into a minor chord and use the second person mayestatic plural".
* The picture is Daniel Johnston, because I think he is a genius like Bob Dylan. I discovered DJ later but since then he is to me Simply The Best, like Tina Turner song. He is releasing a new album this fall. I will probably include on my next album a song called "Laurie Allen", the name of his imposible muse. My song is, of course, a homage to my favourite DJ. I compare his muse to mine, and there are many diferences between them, that's a big relieve to me.
